Although deeply involved in the construction of Arda, Vendórë was one of the Ainur unwilling to inhabit the wild lands. She could not, however, keep from feeling all the love and pain and lust and hurt that rose from that world. Given a second chance in the creation of Órë, she has decided to dwell among the Children of Ilúvatar and offer whatever services she can in the healing of broken hearts and the kindling of new love. After all, everyone needs someone sometime, right?
Vendórë is sister to Estë and niece to Marendë. She leads a chaste life as the burning desire for a love of her own fuels her ability to inspire love in others. Her name means Maiden Heart and her title is Love-Giver.
